Whether a Timecard is open for editing is determined by two factors: a Setting in each client portal and the Lock Status of each Timecard. This article explains how to adjust the Client setting. For Timecard Lock information, see Timecard Lock.


1) Click Settings on the top navigation menu and then select General on the left. 


2) Click Preferences.


3) Scroll down and find Number of pay periods to open for editing timecards.



4) Enter a number to specify how many Pay Periods for which to allow timecard editing. For example, entering "1" will allow only the current Pay Period to be edited. Entering "0" will allow no Pay Periods to be edited.


5) Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
