This article explains the Punch with Location feature of the Timerack mobile app.

If Mobile App With Location is enabled on a user's Employee Profile in the Timerack web portal, the app requests permission to access the device's location when the user punches for the first time. If location access is allowed, the device's location at the time of the punch will be stored on employee's timecard. Timerack only uses the device's location when recording a punch; location information is not visible to managers at any other time.

If the user attempts to send a punch with location access turned off, a message will display prompting them to allow access.

If location access is not allowed on the device, an error message will display and the attempted punch will not post to the employee's Timecard.
