This article explains how to connect the Intellipunch to the internet and activate it.

Connect using Wi-Fi
Plug the included adapter into the port on the back of the device and then connect it to a power source. There is no power button; the device will automatically turn on when plugged in. | |
Tap on your preferred language to select it. | |
Tap Go to Network Settings to access the device settings and connect to the internet. Your network security settings may require that your IT Department approve the device to remain connected to your network. | |
Use the toggle to turn on Wi-Fi. | |
Tap on Wi-Fi to view available networks. | |
Tap on a network name to connect. | |
Tap in the Password field to access the on-screen keyboard. | |
Type the wi-fi password and then tap Done or the checkmark button. | |
If prompted, tap Connect. | |
Tap the back arrow in the upper left twice, or until you return to the Timerack connectivity screen. | |
When the device is connected to Timerack, tap Next. | |
If the device has been registered to a client portal, a message will display confirming that activation was successful and data will begin to download. If activation does not succeed after 30 seconds, contact Timerack Support for assistance. |
Connect using Ethernet
Intellipunch has built-in Power over Ethernet (PoE). Note: your router must be also be capable of PoE to use this feature. |
Plug an Ethernet cable into the port located on the back of the device. | |
Tap on your preferred language to select it. | |
Tap Go to Network Settings to access the device settings and connect to the internet. Your network security settings may require that your IT Department approve the device to remain connected to your network. | |
Verify that Wi-Fi is turned OFF. | |
Tap on Ethernet. | |
Turn Ethernet ON. | |
A typical configuration is to use DHCP. Turn DCHP ON if not using Static IP. | |
When the device is connected to Timerack, tap Next. | |
