This article explains how to generate a payroll file in Timerack and post the time data to Greenfield TempServ.
Generate payroll file in Timerack
5) Click the Fetch button.
6) A asterisk ( ) means that a punch is missing on the employee's timecard for this pay period and it must be corrected prior to processing payroll. Correct all timecard errors and then repeat steps 1-5.
7) Click the Save File Only button.
8) Enter the Pay File Name shown in portal Settings (Settings>General>Company). |
9) Enter the Password associated with your Timerack login credentials.
10) Click OK.
11) A message will display at the top of the page that Payroll submitted successfully. Click OK to dismiss the message.
12) Click the Payroll History tab.
13) Locate the applicable file in the list (most recent will appear on top). In the Action column, click the button with the blue arrow pointing up to send the file to TempServ via SFTP. The file will upload with the configured Pay File Name and replace the existing file on the SFTP site. |
Post the time data in TempServ
1) On the desktop in TempServ, select the Payroll option in the Desktop Functions Menu.
2) Navigate to the Timerack Section under Time & Attendance and then select Post Timerack Time to TempServ.
3) A new window will pop up. Click the magnifying glass icon next to the Customer Acct Id field to view the Customer list.
4) Select a Customer from the list to populate the Customer Acct Id field.
5) Choose Yes on the dropdown menu to post the time data. If No is chosen, the time data will not post in the timecard entry (printout review only).
A printout will be available and may take up to 5 minutes to display. If the printout is not available after five minutes, contact Greenfield.
