This article explains how to view information about clock connectivity status in the portal.


Dashboard

Client Dashboard displays the connection status of up to three clocks.

Click Clocks in the top navigation menu to view more clocks and additional connectivity details.

When a clock is successfully communicating with the Timerack server, Connection Status will display Active. 


If Connection Status displays In-Active, the clock is not reaching the Timerack server. Even if the clock is connected to the internet, it is possible that the clock is not connecting to the server. Contact Timerack Support if your clock is connected to the internet but displaying an In-Active Connection Status.


Punches and employee data transmit automatically between clocks and the Timerack portal according to interval settings, however users can also manually trigger this process from the Clocks page.
