This article explains the features that can be selected on employee profiles to enable employees to interact with Timerack clocks and software.
Available options will vary, based on the configuration specific to each client portal.
Physical Clocks
Physical: Employee can punch on TR905 clocks, and Kiosks. Use the Send to clock selector to identify specific TR905 clocks if the employee should not be allowed on all clocks. Send to clock field does not apply to Kiosk.
Kiosk: Employee can punch in and out on Intellipunch clock(s). Send to clock field does not apply to Intellipunch clock(s).
Web Features
Web: Employee can punch on web clock
Allow Notes for Web Punches: Enables employee to include a note with each web punch
Timesheet: Employee can modify their own timecard on web
Timesheet Read only: Employee can view their timecard on web, but not modify it
Leave Request: Employee can request time off on web
Emp SelfService: Employee can view and edit their personal information on web. A “Self Service” page will become visible to them. Employee can edit their First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Primary Phone, Home Phone, Mobile, Fax, Email, Gender, Marital Status, Residence Address, and Security Question.
Mobile Features
Mobile Clock In/Out: Employee can punch on mobile app
Mobile app with Location: Mobile app will prompt the employee to share their location when punching in and out
Mobile App with Employee Notes: Enables employee to include a note on their timecard when they punch in and out
Mobile Self Service: Makes the Mobile TimeCard checkbox available to select
Mobile TimeCard: Employee can view (not modify) their timecard on mobile app
