Mass Update is a tool for updating multiple employees' information at once, useful for assigning policies such as rounding and overtime, updating shifts, and granting employees access to web and mobile features.

This article explains how to use Mass Update to make changes to multiple employees at once. To update one employee profile at a time, see Employee Info. 


1) Click Timecard on the navigation menu at the top of the page

2) Select Mass Update on the navigation menu on the left

 

3) Employee Search section is where you will select which employee profiles to update


Use the dropdown menus to filter the employee list according to which employees you wish to update. Click the Advanced button to display additional filters.


Filtering is optional; if you wish to view all employees, do not apply any filters


    

4) Click the Fetch button to retrieve the list of employee profiles



5) Mark the checkboxes on the left of the list to select employee profiles for update



6) Employee Update section is where you will specify which profile items to change and what changes to make to them



7) Mark the checkbox next to the item(s) you wish to update for the selected employees.



8) Use the dropdown menu below each selected item to choose a new value.



To remove a value, choose --Select-- from the dropdown menu.


9) Click the Update button at the bottom of the page to apply the update(s)

     

10) A message will appear at the top of the page confirming that you wish to apply the changes. 

Click OK to confirm.

11) Changes can be applied to the Current Pay Period, or a Custom Date can be chosen. 

Select the appropriate option and then click the Update button.



12) Timecards will recalculate based on the changes made.
